Course Outline

This two-day interactive course prepares implementers to configure and deploy the ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) application. Participants work as technical consultants in a guided, hands-on environment to configure HRSD features, secure HR data, manage Employee Center experiences, and apply Zurich release implementation best practices.

Module 1: Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD) Overview

  • Objectives: Review course prerequisites; review HRSD applications; discuss implementation considerations.

Module 2: Configure HRSD

  • Objectives: Review HRSD tables and components; perform core HRSD configuration; configure case assignment options; configure localization and internationalization.

Module 3: Additional Concepts

  • Objectives: Configure content automation and campaigns; manage employee documents; execute quick start tests.

Module 4: Secure HRSD

  • Objectives: Apply governance strategies; configure delegated development; lock down HR administration.

Module 5: HR Integrations

  • Objectives: Explore HR integrations.

Module 6: Now Intelligence for HRSD

  • Objectives: Explore Now Intelligence capabilities for HRSD.

Module 8: Dig Deeper

  • Objectives: Explore advanced features; review implementation considerations; apply additional tips for success; optionally work through the HR Implementation Simulator if time allows.

Note about the Certification Exam

When you register for the course, you will be prompted to choose Y/N to take the exam. Please select yes, as all HHS CISO employees are required to attempt the exam if one is offered for the course. Please be advised, if your course if funded by DIR, the Certification Organization has agreed to provide DIR the pass/fail status of your exam. DIR will only share this information in an aggregated report to state leadership that reflects total exam pass or fails. No individual names of any students will be included in any reports.

DIR requires that you submit the request for your exam voucher within one month of the last day of your course. DIR requires that you take your exam within six months of the last day of your course.
